The Manager of Human Resources is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the HR department for the GPGS Japan Hub. This role will support the Site Director with all aspects of HR functions for GPGS Operation in Japan. The Manager of HR role is a generalist position overseeing a variety of HR functions relating to talent acquisition, compensation, colleague relations, benefits, payroll, policy administration and compliance matters. The role is also responsible for providing HR advice to key stakeholders on strategic initiatives for the operation. As a senior member of the leadership team, the HR Manager will help establish and grow the Care culture of the company, and will interact with colleagues at all levels of the organization, maintaining good working relationships and acting as a role model.

  • Oversees HR functions on a day to day basis for the Japan GPGS including, but not limited to, colleague relations, employment, compensation, payroll, compliance etc.
  • Provide support and direction to HR Specialist. Manage coaching, development and performance management.
  • Responsible for talent acquisition, handling end to end recruitment processes from application stage to hire. Liasing with leadership and staffing vendors to ensure candidate quality and suitability.
  • Manages compensation structure and benchmarks competitor’s starting pay and market median to ensure the Hub is paying competitively and is able to attract and retain the best talent.
  • Advises the GPGS leadership team on all HR matters including, but not limited to, policy administration, colleague relations, coaching and counseling guidance, development of new procedures, and payroll.
  • Consistently handles colleague personal situations and confidential employee relations, demonstrating strong decision making skills and judgment, when information is sensitive and you do not have all the details.
  • Collaborates with Corporate HR, Regional HR and hotel teams. Manages relationships with external partners such as vendors and 3rd party companies to deliver HR services and support to GPGS colleagues.
  • Responsible for oversight and ongoing maintenance of Human Resources Information System (People HYway). Enters all colleague information including new hires, rate changes, promotions, etc. Stewardship of colleague data, confidential personal information and privacy.
  • Creates HR training and SOP’s, delivers Orientation and other HR and leadership presentations, and plans and participates in team and organization events and activities.
  • Execute the Retention Strategies and engage with the various Operations Leaders to ensure our Japan GPGS becomes the “Best Place to Work” for our associates. Develop and administer colleague recognition programs.
  • Manage the Colleague Experience Survey and work with respective Leaders to improve associate engagement. Lead/Work closely with the Wellbeing Committee to support colleague’s physical, emotional and mental wellbeing though wide ranging activities
  • Provides reporting, HR data and information to key stakeholders on an as needed basis.
  • Oversee the effective administration of personnel records and files in line with Company Policy.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, regulatory, and other laws, policies, and guidelines. Maintain all necessary documents for compliance to all HR practices and record keeping per record retention guidelines.

 

 

応募資格

  • 3+ years Human Resources experience, strong knowledge of local labor laws and practices
  • 1 to 3 years in Human Resources management capacity.
  • Contact Center or Hospitality HR experience preferred
  • College Degree
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, Outlook, etc.
  • HRIS systems knowledge preferred (ADP Enterprise, Peoplesoft, etc.)
  • Other HR systems knowledge preferred (Taleo, Kronos, Oracle, etc.)
