MES Project Manager (#8497)

Location 

Tokyo basis 

Business trip to client sites in Japan will be required 

The role 

Our client is an innovative technology firm where they focus on a variety of cutting-edge technologies. Various revolutionary technology projects help to build a safer, happier and more sustainable world. We are looking for a MES Project Manager to be part of our client’s journey.      

Responsibilities 

Provides expertise in the project implementation lifecycle, responsible for project planning/execution of professional activities within a technical discipline as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.) 

• Project management for the MES implementation project 

• Define project plan properly, breakdown activities and execute the project plan and monitor project progress 

• Ensure the most efficiency of collaborations between each project work stream and project members to deploy the solution on time  

• Identify project risks and define risk mitigation plan accordingly 

Profile 

Mandatory 

• Engineering IT implementation (4~5 years)  

• Project management (PMP is better)  

• Strong written and oral communication skills in Japanese and English is a must 

• At least 5+ years of experience in related fields  

• Personal credibility in front of customers is essential  

• Experience in managing/ planning project activities and configuration of data/ functional analysis  

• Ability to work in an agile, team-oriented, and collaborative environment  

• Ability to facilitate meetings and follow up with resulting action items 

Preferred 

• Software development process experience  

• Agile project experience
