• Vice President, Acquisition and Trading

  Report To: Head of Japan
  Department: Acquisition & Trading
  Duties and responsibilities
• Maintain solid relationships with existing clients including trading/leasing companies, JOL/JOLCO investors and other institutions for existing or potential new transactions;
• Identify and liaise with new clients for aircraft acquisition and trading opportunities;
• Prepare transaction summaries, financial modeling and analysis; 
• Negotiate with clients and coordinate with internal risk, legal and other departments to proceed transactions from origination to closure;
• Communicate efficiently and proactively with internal and external counterparties;
• Daily communication with international offices;
• Regular business travel within Japan is required. 
• *VP: A strong ownership to complete the sales targets as assigned independently is required.

• Bachelor’s degree or above majoring in financing, marketing, business management, aviation engineering or comparable professional fields;
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in commercial banking, leasing, securities, or trading companies with an extensive knowledge of finance, leasing and structured finance;
• Relevant experience within the aviation industry, including leasing, bank, airline and other financial institutions is an advantage;
• Fluency in English and native Japanese is a must;
• Confident and self-motivated
