Job description

The main responsibilities include training teams on agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and lean development practices, coaching teams through agile ceremonies, helping with the transition to self-organization and cross-functional collaboration, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, facilitating organizational change towards agility, measuring key agile adoption and productivity metrics, troubleshooting impediments, researching and sharing agile best practices, acting as a mentor and advisor to Product Owners and Scrum Masters, building an agile culture of continuous learning, feedback, and improvement, scaling agile frameworks across large, complex programs with multiple teams, developing customized agile transformations based on organizational needs, and leading workshops and train-the-trainer sessions to develop internal agile coaches.

Key Accountabilities & Specific Activities:

  • Define coaching objectives with people, teams, and departments
  • Understand/assess the current situation of the person, team, or department in terms of practices
  • Agree on the success criteria for the person or team
  • Coaching per profile: Business, Scrum Master, Product Owner, Development Team, Managers
  • Coaching per specialty: Product, Implementation, Tests, Specialists, Managers
  • Supporting Hybrid Project (Waterfall and Agile)

Facilitates workshops and training:  

  • Facilitate Agile workshops such as Retrospectives, Community practices
  • Facilitate Agile and Innovation games 
  • Train a team or a community to Agile practices 

As a member of the Agile Center, take an active role in the continuous improvement of practices:

  • Being aware of new market practices
  • Suggest improvements for existing practices
  • Experiment new practices

Requirements

 

  • Experience: 3+ years in a Scrum role (Agile Coach, Scrum Master, Product Owner, Product Manager).
  • Knowledge of Agile Practices
  • Coaching Techniques: Proficient in active listening, effective questioning, and providing constructive feedback.
  • Product Management: Familiar with Product Vision, Story Mapping, Product Backlog, etc.
  • Agile Project Management: Knowledge of agile project management methods and associated tools (Visual management, Agile indicators, Agile KPIs, Jira, and Confluence).
  • User Stories: Skilled in writing effective user stories following the INVEST criteria.
  • Scrum and Kanban: Mastery of Scrum and Kanban practices, especially rituals like daily meetings, retrospectives, and demos.
  • Framework Expertise: Pioneer-level expertise with multiple frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, and the Spotify mode
