Job description
1, Empower Teams to Reach Their Full Potential
- Foster a strong team spirit and encourage collaboration.
- Guide the team toward self-organization and maximizing its potential.
- Coach the team on Agile principles and best practices to enhance value delivery.
- Create a safe environment for open discussions and issue resolution.
- Promote a Kaizen (continuous improvement) mindset in daily work.
2, Support Growth & Learning
- Identify and facilitate growth opportunities such as knowledge sharing, feedback -sessions, and mentoring.
- Coach the Product Owner in backlog management, prioritization, and stakeholder communication.
- Support squad members in delivering the highest value in the best way possible.
- Lead by example as an Agile role model.
3,Facilitate Workshops & Decision-Making
- Conduct effective workshops and discussions to align on goals and maximize outcomes.
- Facilitate team and stakeholder decision-making.
- Mediate and resolve conflicts constructively.
4, Own & Optimize the Team's Agile Process
- Maintain end-to-end visibility of the team's workflow (eg, Kanban, Value Stream Mapping).
- Establish and track actionable Agile KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
- Identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress.
5, Drive Transparency & Communication
- Provide clear visibility into team progress using Agile metrics (eg, Velocity, Retrospectives).
- Maintain valuable and actionable KPIs for the team.
- Share successes and failures to foster learning across teams.
- Actively engage in internal communication and lessons learned from Agile transformation.
- Stay curious and proactive in exploring new industry trends and Agile practices.
- Take an active role in Product & Scrum Master Communities of Practice.
6, Lead Transformation Beyond the Team
- Proactively improve cross-team collaboration by eliminating siloed mindsets and fostering a culture of transparency and alignment.
- Guide and mentor at least one Scrum Master from another squad, helping them grow in their role.
- Represent the team and organization by actively contributing to external discussions, such as conferences, on Agile transformation and lessons learned.
- Expand your network and stay updated on industry best practices by participating in Agile community events in Japan whenever possible.
Requirements
・Be a change leader, Persuasion
・Japanese and English bilingual - Business level mandatory
・Teaching & Coaching skills, Communication skills
・Ability to adapt depending on the audience (Technical experts, Product managers, Heads of departments)
・Mastery of Agile Practices:
- Mastery of coaching techniques and coaching stances (coach stance: listening, questioning and providing feedbacks)
- Mastery of Product Management techniques (Product Vision, Story Mapping, Product Backlog...) and Value-based prioritization
- Mastery of Agile project management methods and associated tools (Visual management, Agile indicators, Visual management, Agile KPI)
- Mastery of the conception and redaction of User Stories (BDD, TDD knowledge are also welcomed)
- Mastery of Scrum and Kanban practices (especially rituals such as daily meetings, retrospectives, demos...)
- Mastery of workshops organization and practices facilitation
- Mastery of Agile and Innovative games' facilitation
