Job Purpose:
The IT Auditor is responsible for supporting the execution of internal audit activities across all entities in Japan. The role aims to provide timely and independent assurance to improve the control culture within the organization. The IT Auditor will demonstrate autonomy in performing audit work, possess strong knowledge of IT processes, assess key risks, and have excellent interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities:
- Execute assigned internal audit tests in accordance with Group and IIA standards and the approved audit plan.
- Assist in the development of internal audit programs.
- Prepare audit reports.
- Gain and maintain an understanding of key business risks and regulatory requirements.
- Interact efficiently with management during audit fieldwork and present conclusions effectively during closing meetings.
- Collaborate with management to track action plans for timely resolution.
- Ensure the application of GIA standards/CAPT Methodology during audit reviews.
- Take responsibility for professional development, identify training needs, and build a professional network.
Job Qualifications:
- Experience in Financial Services, Insurance, or Internal Audit/other control functions.
- Strong understanding of different systems, theories, and practices in a relevant discipline.
- Technology background required, including knowledge of web applications, operating systems, databases, mainframe, and network.
- Familiarity with IT general control processes such as change management, SDLC/agile development, incident & problem management, disaster recovery, and/or security operations.
- Preferred certifications: CISA, CISSP, and/or other technology certifications.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT auditing, IT governance and control, and/or technology administration/development.
- Fluent in Japanese and clear written and spoken English (at least B2 or 785 at TOEIC). Additional languages are a plus.
