The Social Media Planner will support the Social Media Manager in running daily social media activities with the corporate functions, three internal business divisions (Fashion, Fragrance & Beauty, Watches & Fine Jewelry) and external partners, to maximize the House’s social media presence across organic platforms in Japan, reinforce the brand equity and engage the local audiences.
The successful Social Media Planner candidate has an excellent knowledge of social media tools and trends and can provide detailed analysis to improve performance. The role will support the Social Media Manager in building strategies, evaluating performance, and ensure that social media efforts align with business goals and objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assisting Social Media Manager in building successful cross-channel communication strategies with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
• Conducting in-depth analysis of social media campaigns to assess their performance and effectiveness.
• Leading day-to-day operational tasks, including overseeing content and publishing calendars, reviewing mockups, and giving instruction to internal teams and external agencies.
• Implementing new initiatives and communication formats by working closely with key local partners and global divisional teams.
• Monitoring the budgets and communicate them with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Client & Omni-Channel, Integrated Media, Research & Insights, to ensure social media content aligns with other marketing initiatives.
• Monitoring and analyzing social media performance to achieve target KPIs.
• Working closely with the Social Media Assistant role and monitor their quality of work.
• Staying up-to-date with social media algorithms, platforms updates and emerging trends.
PROFILE:
• Full professional fluency in written and spoken English and Japanese.
• A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in the social media marketing field, especially on LINE, X and TikTok.
• Great attention to detail and accuracy in copy review, data analysis and reporting.
• Proven team player with a go-getting attitude.
• Experience with social media publishing tool and analytics platforms.
• Ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in the luxury sector is an added benefit.
