Purpose of the job:

We are part of the largest luxury brand in the world. As a DX project manager, you will be expected to earn the knowledge of retail and luxury industry, experience business transformation with digital solutions, and gain skills on performing digital program/project management.

  • Playing a key role on Digital Transformation in DX & Omni Client & E-business departments in Japan. This position acts as a liaison between business units and Internal/External technology teams.
  • DX Project Manager works to improve the day-to-day for business units, by executing projects with the best digital solutions in solving business issues.
  • DX Project Manager ensures delivery of quality projects on time, within scope and budget by working with necessary stakeholders. The projects will vary in size, from small to complex with multiple work streams and stakeholders across many departments.
    • CX: Digital & eCommerce, Social CRM, LINE applications, Omnichannel Integration (EC/Retail/Social CRM).
    • EX: Automate and transform manual work on digital marketing and operation.

Main responsibilities:

Perform project/product management on the business side for the selected digital initiative under DX
& Omni Client & E-Business Department in Japan with working closely with local IT division.

  • Work with each of team under DX& Omni Client E-Business Department which runs E-Commerce,  CRM, SNS Marketing, and contribute day to day business improvement.
  • Define the target user and their pain and gain, make unique value of each digital solution by performing market/competitor analysis from the business point of view.
  • Design the user journey and UX, analyze the cost and ROI, and make project plan and roadmap to align the DX strategy of 
  • Make the necessary arbitrages & coordination with different stakeholders to drive the project and support the Project Manager of IT team.
  • Maintain the quality and value of digital product that has been developed by DX & Omni Client & E-Business Department

  • DX: CRM & Digital team, E-Commerce team, E-Retail team, CS team
  • Business: Retail and Sales Team
  • IT: Regional / Central IT team.

External

  • Technology servicer

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Information Technology, System Design, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as project lead for Digital solutions OR relevant experience on a Digital Service Provider.
  • Excellent Japanese and English written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrates a genuine curiosity and passion for emerging technologies and trends indigital transformation.
  • Knowledge of application development processes especially related to LINE.

Project Management Skills:

  • Strong skills in scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g.,Trello, JIRA).

Industry and business Knowledge:

  • Strong business background & understanding, preferably within the Luxury and/or Retail Industry.
  • Ability to align business goals with DX project objectives.
