Our client is providing IT infrastructure support services to a large medical instrument company in Japan, for its coverage includes not only end to end center services (Server, storage, DB, AD, Messaging, Virtual infrastructure, backup etc.), NW and Security but also Service Desk and End User Computing (EUC) in addition to Cross Function Services such as Incident, Change and Problem management services.
The role will belong to Service Desk and help proceeding BAU projects and initiatives or find seed of business opportunities.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Manage BAU projects by driving and coordinating technical towers and communicate with the customer for progress or action/risk/issue management.
- Capture requirement, identify solutions and associated tasks with tower leads and operations manager.
- Agree schedule with the customer and report the progress
- Action, risk, issue and dependency management
- Support user communication in Japanese especially when it Is not getting desired outcome by offshore engineers
- Handle multiple (small) projects in parallel
- Documentation – visualize the requirements, solutions, risk & actions etc.
- Liaise with internal team for knowledge management and lessons learnt from projects or proactively propose and assist improvement plans
- Proactively work on identifying seeds (business opportunities) with the customer and internal teams.
