Asset Management / Owner Relation

You will be a key member of the Investment & Asset Management Team you will primarily be involved in asset planning, annual budget, business plan reviews, monthly reports, Asset Enhancement Initiatives (AEIs), and valuations. You will be responsible for growing and enhancing one of the fastest-growing living sector portfolios in Japan.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Strategize with team leads to optimize profitability and cashflows during underwriting and after deal closing.
• Lead monthly stakeholder's and owner’s meetings.
• Identifying key opportunities, and issues and preparing action plans for implementation with stakeholders.
• Review and assist with the preparation of monthly management reports and financial statements.
• Identifying potential AEIs to be completed and ensuring timely implementation and within budget.
• Review and analyze Annual Operating & Capital Expense Budgets for internal stakeholders and owner approvals.
• Liaise with auditors, valuers, engineers, banks, and other external professional advisors on matters about the assets.
• Liaise with trust banks and issue instructions to trust banks when needed.
• Liaise with building managers and the operation team when needed.   

• Degree in Real Estate or Hospitality, additional qualifications like an MBA or CFA will be favorably considered.
• Japanese at native level and English at business level 
• Minimum 4 years of experience as an Asset Manager. 
• Previous hospitality or living sector-specific roles in a Real Estate Private Equity will be favorably considered.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Attention to detail with good financial and excel skills.
