Job description
Our client provides comprehensive services from market analysis to strategy development, marketing initiatives deployment, and effectiveness measurement based on insights extracted from purchasing data amounting to annual sales of 10 trillion yen.
Position Summary:
- Lead the planning and execution of various initiatives in the Talent Management field
- Management of the recruitment team
- Support and lead HRBP as needed
- Propose improvements for HR systems
Main Responsibilities:
- Analyze organizational needs and employee skill sets to plan, develop, and execute training programs.
- Develop and implement orientation programs for new hires and mid-career recruits.
- Support the introduction and use of tools (Workday) for employee performance evaluation and talent management.
- Design and implement leadership development programs to enhance leadership skills.
- Evaluate employee training needs and research/select external training programs and workshops.
- Manage internal educational resources and training budgets for planning and executing training programs.
- Update and improve training programs based on industry best practices.
- Lead goal setting, mid-year reviews, and completion evaluations.
- Operate the performance evaluation system, propose improvements as needed, implement, and lead.
- Support and manage areas of responsibility for HRBP and recruitment teams.
- Propose improvements to the overall HR system using Workday.
- Support and lead other areas of work as necessary.
Requirements
- Experience in HR for 8 years or more
- Practical experience in training and organizational development for 5-6 years or more
- Experience in talent acquisition for 2-3 years or more
- Labor relations experience for 2 years or more
- Management experience for 2-3 years or more
- Experience in HR information management using HR systems
- Strong communication skills to progress smoothly while coordinating with others
- Ability to drive goals achievement by involving stakeholders
- Native-level Japanese / Business-level English (TOEIC score of 700 or above)
- Proficiency in Excel (functions), Word, PowerPoint
- Prefered:
- Experience in operating HR systems (Workday)
- Experience in organizational development is a plus
- Certification as a career consultant is a plus
