Finance, Accounting, AR Manager (#8626)

• Manage and maintain accounts receivable functions to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Oversee cash collection through ALSOK at retail locations and manage change arrangements.
• Maintain and negotiate contracts with credit card companies and POS credit card terminals.
• Develop, implement, and maintain controls and policies to ensure accurate and compliant receivable records.
• Monitor account aging and identify delinquent accounts.
• Oversee collection activities, including tracking cash receipts and following up on inquiries as needed.
• Verify customer credit limits and review the credit control report before sending it to the sales department.
• Advise sales department on changing collection terms and/or requiring deposits from customers.
• Involve in external and internal audits to ensure full compliance and prevent delays.
• Manage two staff members, including a temporary staff member, and build a strong team.
• Lead and support various accounting-related projects, such as the ERP implementation.
• Handle various accounting-related tasks and other ad hoc duties as required.

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience.
• 5+ years of accounts receivable experience in retail industry.
• US CPA, Japan CPA or chartered accountant is preferable.
• Business level English and Japanese.
