Mainframe Cobol Functional Consultant (#8884)

• To act as Functional consultant in Support and maintenance project of an existing application written predominately using Microfocus Cobol with Java front end.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate technical concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Expertise in conducting root cause analysis of the application modules
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Provide L3/L4 level of maintenance support for the user service requests
• Conduct Peer reviews and able to do project management activities for the client serving role
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage client relationships effectively.
• Bilingual is preferred with basic level of Japanese ( Read/Write) to address client queries
• Proficient in standard software development (SDLC ) with testing and deployment.
• Good to have experience in Airlines Domain.
• Good to have experience in Japanese client facing role by handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, building relationships, providing support, and managing client expectations.
