[Position Summary]

  • Quality assurance of apparel (sports/casual) and accessories (caps/bags/socks, etc.) products, leader of all related operations
  • Maintaining and improving the quality of the NB brand, maintaining and improving product management operations to meet the needs of the Japanese market, and building an operations system in line with business growth *Management of the work of two temporary staff

[Roles and Responsibilities]

  • Specification inspection with the logistics center (3PL), product and quality related operations
  • Confirming product label and package display content in accordance with laws and regulations
  • Formulating and executing quality control and inspection plans
  • Confirming and handling with domestic and overseas business contractors
  • Various negotiations with domestic and overseas suppliers
  • Conducting quality confirmations with global and domestic related departments
  • Collecting quality-related data, analyzing reports, and managing costs
  • Updating and managing various manuals, etc.
  • Implementing problem-solving plans when quality inquiries or problems occur

Requirements

[Experience/Qualifications]

  • Over 5 years of experience in quality control, production management, or development in the sports/apparel industry
  • Experience working with logistics warehouses (3PL)
  • Experience working with overseas companies using English *TOEIC target: 700+

[Skills/Knowledge level related to the job]

  • Knowledge of quality control, production processes, material quality, sewing techniques, etc.
  • Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot, minimize problems, and lead to optimal solutions
  • Logical thinking skills using frameworks such as QCD
  • Communication skills with internal and external parties
  • Schedule and task management skills
  • PC skills (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)

[Practical Experience]

  • Work collaboration with logistics centers (DC)
  • Product package labeling confirmation work in accordance with laws and regulations
  • Materials (price tags, tags, etc.) ordering work
  • Develop and implement quality control/inspection plans
    • Add appropriate requirements based on global standards to meet the needs of the Japanese market
    • Manage and update quality standards/inspection standards/manuals
    • Domestic and overseas Third-party inspection and inspection schedule/cost management
    • quality-related data collection/report analysis/improvement action
  • Problem resolution when product defects occur
    • Inspection and repair when lot problems occur, cooperation with related departments, progress management
    • Discussion with vendors (global headquarters/overseas licenses/Japanese trading company)
  • Customer care work
    • Support for quality inquiries/complaints from each department within the company (sales/customer service center/retail/EC)
    • Cause investigation/report creation
