We are leading a multi-year transformation program to provide best-in-class solutions to our business partners through a modern tech stack and scalable architecture. The Point of Sales (POS) system is a cornerstone of the client experience and a key component of this transformation. Our ambitions include elevating the client experience through simplified in-store operations, enabling omnichannel journeys, strengthening core processes, and optimizing our operating models.
 
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Serve as the main IT counterpart on the new POS implementation project.
  • Lead solution design with other regions, ensuring local requirements from the three divisions (Fashion, Fragrance and Beauty, Watch and Fine Jewelry) are embedded in the core model.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions.
  • Transform business requirements into necessary product modifications.
  • Identify gaps and issues, proposing workarounds and solutions.
  • Act as a liaison with business teams for troubleshooting, investigating, analyzing, and solving software problems.
  • Proactively propose business process and/or system enhancements.
  • Work independently and self-directed.
  • Train team members on the selected solution to build local expertise before implementation.

Requirements

Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with leading Point of Sales systems (e.g., Xstore, Y2).
  • At least 5 years in POS consulting services or business environments, implementing POS applications.
  • Profound understanding of POS business processes.
  • Experience in developing rollout strategies.
  • Knowledge of integration points between POS and other store/head office systems.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong teamwork skills and effective interaction with others.
  • Result-oriented, flexible, and resourceful.
  • Excellent communication skills for training and explanation purposes.
  • Fluent in English and Business Japanese (N2).
