Job description

The HR Solution Partner is a hybrid role that mainly plays the role of ① HR Operation and ② HR Business Partner at the Kakegawa factory.

① As an expert in the following HR tasks, you will take ownership of the tasks.

  • Human resource development: Domestic deployment of global educational programs, planning and operation of programs unique to Japan
  • Labor management: Management of human resource systems, data analysis, participation in globally deployed projects and introduction to Japan, etc.
  • Human resource regulations: Management, updates, and notification of regulations
  • Employment process: Onboarding, offboarding
  • Project work: System integration, paperless, process simplification
  • ER: Dealing with internal labor unions
  • Global Mobility (work related to global mobility for the entire company)

2. HR Business Partnering to internal Business Units (BUs)

  • Creating a talent pipeline and nurturing and retaining top performers
  • Support for organizational human resource development in BUs and implementation of programs
  • Implementation of succession planning
  • Planning and implementation of inclusion and diversity programs

Requirements

  • 3 years or more of HR practical experience as a HR person in the manufacturing industry (experience in either HR operations, BP, or COE) 
  • Able to involve related departments within the company and actively promote projects with cooperation
  •  Always aware of problems and willing to make efforts to solve them
  • Positive attitude toward work and self-management skills
  • Communication skills
  • PC skills (Microsoft Office [EXCEL, Word, Power Point])

Preferred conditions
Those with any of the following experiences

  • Experience in creating, amending, and filing HR-related regulations
  • Experience in labor-management negotiations with labor unions, employee representatives, etc.
  • Experience in running or launching a global program in Japan in the HR department of a foreign-affiliated company.
  • Experience with data analysis such as people analytics, or experience with planning and implementing HR policies based on analysis results
  • Experience using human resource management systems (SuccessFactors, Workday, OracleHCM)
