Position Overview:

As the company continues its growth and diversification, we need to invest in HR system development to optimize HR operations and support business expansion. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of end-to-end business and process cycles, the ability to operate at various levels of detail, and work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management. This role involves owning project plans, gathering requirements, and participating in various project activities. The candidate will serve as an internal consultant for global HR stakeholders, collaborating closely with IT and HR teams to maximize our Workday investment.

Position Details:

The Workday Performance and Compensation Operation Specialist is responsible for providing comprehensive support and consultation to HR stakeholders, ensuring efficient and high-quality operations within the Workday Performance and Compensation areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and consultation to HR stakeholders, ensuring effective use of Workday for Performance and Compensation operations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and business partners to deliver solutions that enhance process efficiency and user experience.
  • Lead small to mid-sized projects in the Performance and Compensation area.
  • Support larger projects by designing operations, planning and executing testing to ensure smooth operations after go-live.
  • Assess impacts of proposed configuration changes from a Performance and Compensation perspective, offering insights and recommendations to maintain system integrity.

Requirements

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to convey complex technical solutions in simple, business-friendly terms and build strong relationships between end users and HRIS.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and diverse environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in the Workday Performance and Compensation module.
  • Language proficiency: Business-level English and fluent Japanese.
  • Familiarity with HR processes and best practices.
